Imran Khan's brave style statement

At the grand premiere of the controversial and opinionated
flick on former U.S president, George Bush a strange sight was
seen by all in attendance.

Another A-Lister to make his presence felt quite literally was
Aamir’s nephew, Imran Khan. Imran is a bold character, playing
a negative role in Kidnap at such an early stage of his career.
However in a strange and odd twist of fate he stunned all at
the President is Coming Premiere.

Sushmita Sen to do a Benazir Bhutto

According to sources, Sushmita Sen will set aside Rani Laxmibai for a while, to play a more contemporary character from history.

The offer comes from Zaid Aziz and Henna Rai. Two companies, namely Vox Vision and Sum Films will produce the film jointly. The film will be made as a bilingual in English and Urdu, the lavish biopic is to be shot on location in Pakistan and England.

Though not willing to talk about the project, Sushmita has been working on her Urdu diction and also reading up extensively and watching footage on Benazir.

Says the diva, "I love playing historical characters." Lately, Sushmita has made peace with her close circle of associates, who had been less than honest in their dealings with her. Some of them are, in fact, back in her office. "I've made peace with all the people who wronged me. As for those who I might've wrong-ed, I say sorry to God. Some-times, you end up hurting the person you love the most by telling the truth. That person may not speak to me for years. But in the end, he'll get over the bitterness. In my heart, there's no bitterness. Only love."

Sushmita had a ball doing TV. "It requires little time. And the money is good. It wasn't about the big screen or small screen for me. I just wanted to do this show. If I don't do what I want to do now, when will I do it?"

When Salman made fun of Katrina Kaif on TV

Filmstars making an appearance on reality shows to promote their films is something that has become a trend of late.

However, this time it was not just any film star but superstar Salman Khan and the gorgeous Katrina Kaif who made an appearance on the sets of Zee TV's 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009'.

The duo was there to promote their latest film Yuvvraaj (which releases on Nov 21st) and when you have Bollywood's hottest couple together, there is bound to be some magic.

Even after years of being in this industry, there are very few like Salman whose presence alone can make a show magical. Together Salman and Katrina made for a picture perfect couple and set the pulse racing.

Salman was his usual flamboyant self and Katrina as demure as ever. Amidst casual conversations, moments of mirth and camaraderie, they appeased everyone on the sets.

From doing a salsa jig with one of the contestants, Pratibha, to playing cupid between her and Soumen to making Himesh Reshammiya the butt of all jokes, Sallu did it all with élan and gave all the participants some wonderful moments to cherish. What's more? He even made fun of Katrina for her poor Hindi, all in good spirit of course.

Amidst all the fun, the 4 mentors, Himesh Reshammiya, Aadesh Shrivastav, Pritam and Shankar Mahadevan each dedicated a song to him.

However, the moment of the day came when Salman waltzed with Katrina as Pritam began singing 'Teri Ore' from Singh is Kinng.

Abhishek bachchan takes a dig at Salman khan

Actor Abhishek Bachchan is on a promotion spree for KJo’s upcoming flick ‘Dostana’, along with John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra, who happen to be the hot-bods of the much awaited flick. The trio recently featured on the small screen, where they indulged in a candid chat with Karan Johar (supposedly as a part of the film’s promotion campaign), but ended up laughing as Aby Baby took potshots at his ‘newly declared’ good friend Salman Khan.

While John was at ease and Priyanka looked simply adorable, Abhishek could be seen clutching a blue cushion throughout the show over his stomach. As they were chatting and laughing and got indulged in a light-hearted discussion about the film on the show, Karan began his rapid fire round, and that is when Abhishek went bitchy from witty and started taking a dig at Salman.

Arshad Warsi to bare it all in Kaminey

It's learnt that Arshad Warsi will be stripping down to the barest minimum for the Vishal Bhardwaj-produced Kaminey being shot in Wai right now.
"What you've heard is absolutely right. I'll be showing more of myself in a scene for Kaminey than I've ever shown, or I ever will. It's a bathing scene. Since I play a grass-root level guy, I am shown bathing under a municipal tap in my bare essentials."

So how much skin has Arshad shown? The actor clears his throat. "Let's put it this way. If I show any more, I'd be booked for indecency. But it's a film for which I'd do anything. I've rarely been happier working so hard." Not just the stripping, the role requires a lot more of Arshad than that. Since he plays a guy off the streets, he has to look suitably dark. Every morning, hours are spent painting Arshad Warsi's torso black.
"I've to be four shades less fair-skinned than I am. The make-up takes four hours everyday.

Rab ne bana di jodi Story Revealed

Aditya Chopra's films are shrouded in secrecy and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is no different. From the leading lady of the film to the story, it's all closely guarded.
There have been rumours that the story was kept hidden even from the crew of the film. No one had even seen the script, besides the three lead characters — Shah Rukh, Anushka Sharma and Vinay Pathak.
Nach, anyone?
But the thing with secrets is that they always get out. Just as it did with the story of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. A source from the industry tells all: "It was a very earthy romantic film about SRK who is married to Anushka Sharma. There is a big age difference between them and they are not what you'd call a perfect couple. They are merely stretching their marriage with no real romance in between them. They are two very different people. There's a reality dance show called Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi — which is the main backdrop of the movie. The show is on the lines of popular television show, Nach Baliye."
Dance divide
The source continues, "Anushka wants to take part in the dance competition but she can't because her husband is a old and not hip and happening. She fears that if she dances with him, she will lose the show and become the laughing stock among all her friends, who are taking part in the same. Shah Rukh over hears his wife's problem and decides to go in for a makeover. He then watches some movies and changes his image completely and comes back to the show and woos Anushka off her feet. All the way through the dance competition, she keeps on falling in love with this new and improved Shah Rukh, without once realising that the man she is dancing with, is her real husband."
The spokesperson for Yash Raj Films simply says, "No comment!"
