Riya Sen has never found herself lacking in male attention. After buzz about her striking a close friendship with Salman Rushdie in the last few months, it appears that the actress has now found a new guy.
The Bong bombshell has, of late, been spotted with a phirang hunk for company. In fact, at a recent fashion event, the couple made a spectacle of themselves with their excessive PDA.
Though Riya has been refusing to reveal his identity, it is reliably learnt that her latest fancy's name is Khalid and he is from Lebanon.
A lot in common
Says a source, "Khalid is associated with the Jack and Jones denim wear which was recently launched in India. At the fashion show, B-Town stars like Dino Morea, Aftab Shivdasani and Rahul Khanna walked the ramp. Khalid is in Mumbai for the launch and is setting up operations of the brand here. Riya was spotted at the event cosying up with him."
But what's interesting is that the duo already knew each other prior to the event. Adds the source, "Riya and Khalid had struck up a conversation at a night spot a few days earlier. They were both with their set of friends when they got talking. They soon discovered that they had a lot in common. Sparks flew instantly. As a result, Riya was a special guest at the denim wear's launch. After that, the couple has been in constant touch."
To add a twist to the tale at the fashion event, Riya's current flame model Siddharth was also present. It is learnt that Siddharth, who is associated with Bunty Walia Productions is a wannabe actor. The source continues, "When Siddharth saw Riya and Khalid cosying up, he walked out of the event. Later Riya had to cajole him to make up."
Says an onlooker, "It appears that Riya is in a dilemma now with both Khalid and Siddharth. It appears that she wants to keep both happy!"
