While 2007 saw Shah Rukh Khan winning the Entertainment Business Leader of the Year at the CNBC-TV18 India Business Awards, Akshay Kumar walked away with the Brand Ambassador of the Year title at the CNBC Awaaz Consumer Awards 2008, held on Friday night in Mumbai. Akki was all smiles, accompanied with wife Twinkle Khanna. he awards were presented by the guests of honour: minister for consumer affairs and public distribution, Sharad Pawar, and minister for civil aviation, Praful Patel.
