Priyadarshan is planning his next project and wants Aishwarya Rai in it. Sources reveal the director plans to meet the actress next week for story narration.
Even though it isn't clear if she will agree to do the film, what's confirmed that her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan will be making a cameo in it. It is learnt that Priyan met Salman and after he heard the script, he agreed to make a friendly appearance in the film.
After getting a green signal from Salman, Priyan is now keener to get Ash to sign on the dotted line. "It's a romantic drama and the lead opposite Ash is still to be finalised. Priyan has written the role with her in mind. Even though Salman's cameo is short, the director feels it will be a highlight of the film."
It is learnt that Priyan will be upfront about Sallu's cameo to Ash, "If she agrees to do this film, then it will be the first time after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam that the ex-lovers will be seen together." Priyadarshan is travelling for the Dubai festival and will meet Ash once he returns. The project is yet untitled and the director plans to make an announcement in the coming weeks.
When contacted if he will be working with Ash, the director said, "Not to my knowledge."
